Kids Glowride – Registration Description

Get ready for one of the most exciting parts of the SV Glowride — the Kids Glowride, presented by BrightStar Home Care!

The Kids Glowride gives our youngest riders the chance to light up their rides and become part of this amazing Christmas tradition! Kids ages 3–13 can decorate their battery-powered or manually operated rides with Christmas lights, glow sticks, tinsel, and plenty of holiday spirit.

Bring out the Power Wheels, bikes, trikes, scooters, pedal cars, wagons, and other kid-powered rides and make them shine! No gas-powered vehicles are permitted.

All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the Kids Glowride. Participation also includes parent/guardian consent for photography and video captured during the event.

Kids Glowride Rules

The Kids Glowride is designed to be a fun, safe, and family-friendly part of the SV Glowride. By registering or participating, parents/guardians agree to the following rules:

1. Ages 3–13 Only — Participants must be between 3 and 13 years old.

2. No Gas-Powered Vehicles — Gas-powered vehicles of any kind are strictly prohibited.

3. Battery or Manually Operated Vehicles Only — Kids may participate using battery-powered or manually operated vehicles, including Power Wheels-style vehicles, pedal cars, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, wagons, or similar approved vehicles.

4. Adult Supervision Required — Every child must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of the Kids Glowride.

5. Decorate & Light It Up! — Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles with Christmas lights, glow lights, and other festive decorations. Decorations must be securely attached and cannot create a safety hazard.

6. Safe Operation Required — No reckless driving, intentional collisions, excessive speeds, or behavior that could endanger another participant or spectator.

7. Stay on the Designated Route — Participants and accompanying adults must follow the designated Kids Glowride route and instructions provided by event staff.

8. Photography & Video Consent — By participating in the Kids Glowride, the parent or legal guardian consents to the participant being photographed and/or recorded during the event. Photos and videos may be used by SV Glowride and Rocha Planning and Promotions LLC for promotional, social media, advertising, and future event purposes.

9. Parent/Guardian Responsibility — Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether their child's vehicle and participation are appropriate and safe.

10. Follow Event Staff Instructions — All participants and accompanying adults must follow instructions from SV Glowride staff, volunteers, and event safety personnel. Unsafe behavior may result in removal from the Kids Glowride.
